ABOUT VILDBJERG CUP

Vildbjerg Cup is an international youth football tournament for boys and girls between 7 and 17 years old. The Vildbjerg Cup 2012 tournament is the 34th tournament in a row.  616 teams and 8,500 players, coaches and leaders competed in the 2011 tournament, accompanied by 10,000 parents, sisters, brothers and supporters staying at the beautiful camping site.

Vildbjerg Cup is the 4th biggest tournament in Europe and is one of the biggest sports events in Denmark.

Playing football is the focal point – all matches are played on 36 fantastic, beautifully maintained grass playing fields at the sports centre. Only well-educated referees from approved referee clubs, primarily from the local referee club: Herning Dommerklub are being used, but you will also find referees from other parts of Denmark as well as from abroad.

The international atmosphere invites to social chats between the matches, quiet and cosy hours at the camping site and fun and joy in the swimming pool and the big Open Air disco. Here you will make new friendships inspiring the young competitors to come back again next year!
